A more whimsical design combining pony beads and tri beads in fun layout.

These next two pair are a bit more intricate. The Hanukkah present pair have a double go-around of tri beads on the cuff, and the all pony-bead pair also have a double go-around on the cuff, resulting in a crisscross type design.

This is my first holiday season making beaded socks, so each pair I make is very exciting and new. I am so thrilled to have gotten so many orders for Christmas socks this past week!

One order that I received is for a baby girl near and dear to my heart. Her Mommy is a dear friend of mine and I couldn't be more thrilled to be making adorable socks for her.

Here is a sneak peak of my new Tree themed holiday pair for her:

Unlike the Candy Cane themed holiday pairs below, the beads are collared around the cuff of the sock with no chandelier crocheting in order to give a very full, tightly presented splash of red and green.

The sock on the left is basic clear/red/green chandelier type with a candy cane button sewn on the center of the cuff.

The sock on the right has 3 Christmas themed buttons hanging around the sock, off the cuff.

After a long summer hiatus, I am back! I am currently working on a client order and gathering up holiday buttons and beads to build up some holiday inventory.

In the meantime, I would like to post some pictures of my favorite sock orders this past year.

This pair is an all-time favorite. Button socks encompass much more detail than tri bead and pony bed socks.

This was made to match the spring Gymbo Daisy line.

These beads were custom ordered for a client looking for pastel candy.

These socks were made to match the Janie and Jack Enchanted Butterfly line.

These Easter socks were made to match Easter dresses worn by sisters.

Two recent made to match (m2m) pair

A mom of an adorable 2 year old asked me to make two pair of socks to match outfits recently purchased for her daughter.

Using tri beads, I strung together the 3 colors of the dress with the blue being the dominant color with splashes of green to match the adorable frogs. I threw in the pink scattered throughout to pick up on the heart design.

I loved this outfit as soon as I saw it. I was excited to make something in yellow. (borrowed picture, thank you if it's yours.)

I originally wanted to put in splashes of red, but I felt the red was best to "pop" from the outfit itself.

I strung loops around the perimeter of the socks before doing the beads in order for the beads to hang a bit from the cuff, rather than bulk up around the cuff. Each loop has 3 beads hanging from them around the cuff.

There are different ways to attach the beads to the socks and depending upon the way you choose will drastically change the style and look.

This is what I like to call the "chandelier style."

Mom asked for something "delicate" in pink and purple.

Here is my adorable model with her new socks! I just recently got another order from her mom and I'm so excited to make her more!

This style is what I call "rock candy." Doesn't this look yummy? LOL

I really love how these came out~the pearls really give it a delicate look and break up the two shades of pink nicely.

When I first started making socks back in March, I was very excited about doing something new. I posted on a parenting message board I frequent offering to make these socks for moms of little girls.

My very first order was for socks for an adorable 4 month old little girl to match her Easter dress!

Mom posted these pics of the dress and asked if I make matching socks in time for Easter--which was a mere few days away! My first order and it's a rush order!!!

For a newbie, I think I did ok. What do you think?

Isn't this the most adorable dress? I LOVE the duckies!!! This shade of blue is beautiful.

Not bad for a first attempt! A bit ambitious with adding the pearls...but mom loved them!
