The idea for Twinkle Toes came about while trying to find a pair of dress socks, while out of town on vacation, for my then 2 year old daughter. Trying to find a pair of fancy dress socks led me on a frustrating mall exploration for the perfect pair. After perusing some of my favorite children's specialty stores, I was shocked by the absence of cute, fun dress socks! After finally finding a pair of beaded socks in the very back crowded corner of a mall specialty store, I thought: "Why should I have to rely on expensive boutiques to find a pretty pair of socks? I can make these on my own." So was born the idea for a web-based business catering to the custom client: Twinkle Toes!

More Hanukkah socks for Consignment

All of the Hanukkah designs posted to date are going to the school store at Donna Klein Jewish Academy...Here are a few more designs

A more whimsical design combining pony beads and tri beads in fun layout.

These next two pair are a bit more intricate. The Hanukkah present pair have a double go-around of tri beads on the cuff, and the all pony-bead pair also have a double go-around on the cuff, resulting in a crisscross type design.

Oh Christmas Tree.....

This is my first holiday season making beaded socks, so each pair I make is very exciting and new. I am so thrilled to have gotten so many orders for Christmas socks this past week!

One order that I received is for a baby girl near and dear to my heart. Her Mommy is a dear friend of mine and I couldn't be more thrilled to be making adorable socks for her.

Here is a sneak peak of my new Tree themed holiday pair for her:

Unlike the Candy Cane themed holiday pairs below, the beads are collared around the cuff of the sock with no chandelier crocheting in order to give a very full, tightly presented splash of red and green.

The Holidays are Upon Us....

Two new holiday designs emphasizing the candy cane!

The sock on the left is basic clear/red/green chandelier type with a candy cane button sewn on the center of the cuff.

The sock on the right has 3 Christmas themed buttons hanging around the sock, off the cuff.
